Privacy notice

Last updated 25 October 2026

1. Who we are

Venue Radar is the trading name of Kieron Hall, Springfield Road, Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, B36 0DU. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at venueradar@gmail.com.

2. Who this notice covers

3. What we collect and where it comes from

Customers and trial users: your name, business email address, company, what your business sells, the areas you choose, emails you send us, a record of the lists we have sent you, and payment records from PayPal (such as your name, email, the amount and dates). We never see your card or bank details.

Business contacts we approach: your business name and the business contact details published on your website or in business directories, plus notes of our emails with you.

Licence applications: council notices contain venue names, business addresses and the names of applicant companies. Where a council names a private individual as the applicant, we do not store that name. A venue name or business address can still relate to an individual, for example a sole trader.

Our website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. Our hosting provider processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

5. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers: Google (email and our sign-up form), PayPal (payments) and Cloudflare (website hosting). Our customers receive the licence application details described above. We do not sell personal information.

6. International transfers

Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms.

7. How long we keep it

8. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, to move it, or object to how we use it, including at any time to marketing. Email venueradar@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.

9. Changes

We will post any changes to this notice at https://venueradar.pages.dev/privacy.html and tell customers about significant changes by email.
